If any Christian knew the history of how the bible was compiled and edited, translated from all these dead languages, rewritten in their author's opinion and wants, and the fact the bible was written thousands of years ago by people even dumber than we are today they'd know not to take it literally.

I mean, does no one know that Jesus was just a prophet to Muslims? And when you look at their faith taken literally, along with the suicide bombers who say they did what they did in the name of God or "as" God that it's ******** insane to believe in something so old and fairytale like?


Does any Christian know that Mary of Nazareth wasn't a whore beaten with stones at all? She was just this women who Jesus befriended and the Catholic Church's leading Cardinals met hundreds of years ago to change that s**t, so that from then on women in society could be told that they were less then men because of that story?

This Pope is quite a d**k isn't he? He recently said that no other sects of Christianity were right and that Catholicism is the "One True Chruch" that can save people. Now the Protestants got on him bad and Mormons still sure their the truest anything got on him too. However, don't you think that this one statement plus the raping of many children by Catholic priests would be enough to wake-up and realize that that is huge, huge hypocrisy?

1. I believe the Bible is fiction made by a group of guys way back when tripping out on something. Also, if God existed, there couldn't possibly have been the progression of time or the evidence found in the Earth of fossils and such.

2. If I'm wrong, I'll stare God in the face and say, "Huh - so you're real after all." Then I'd continue on my way, because when it all boils down, the only real thing people are interested in is how much dough you have :B

The possibility of a 'god' of any religion existing is too hard for me to believe. If he made us, he cares for us, why doesn't he do anything? Easy. He doesn't exist.

I believe religion was something humanity made to answer all the questions we have no answers for. Why are we here? What made us? What happens when we die?

EDIT: And, what do you christians care that we don't believe? It's us that go to hell, not you. Why do you care if we burn forever in hell?

They're supposed to love us as they love themselves, or something. Beats me, though, considering everything else...

Let me just come out and say it.
I'm near tears for the people here who are so openly bashing their Father. I'm even more in tears for the Christians who are doing nothing to try and save these people. I LOVE God. My life before God was horrible, now I have reason to wake up every morning. I'm tired of seeing atheists and non-believers question MY beliefs. So here's one for you.

I think the big thing for people to agree on is there must have been a creator, cause something so complex and perfectly made doesn't seem to make much sense that it just APEARED. I say god a lot, but I'm not christian, and I don't really by the very simplistic explinations for everything that happened.
