I can function perfectly fine without one. Besides, the whole idea of god seems a bit random. It's like the thing everyone points their fingers at when they don't know something, or can't figure something out.

For example: "Why are we hairless bipeds?"

Will you stop whining? YOU are basically saying YOURSELF that people who do not believe in god are wrong. YOU disrespect others beliefs and then ask for respect in return for yours? It doesn't work like that. If people share your beliefs, then great. If people make fun of your beliefs, then suck it up and walk away. You think people who are buddist and such have never had their beliefs questioned? Made fun of? Of course they have! Even in christianity itself. There are so many strands of it that my belief of christianity may very well differ from yours. When you really want to know why people don't believe in your god, then try not insulting them with things like calling them wrong and then chastizing them for not agreeing with your personal view of religion.

People like you make me ashamed to be a christian. You represent EVERYTHING christianity ISNT.
