I know it feels great. I got to watch the whole Inauguration and his speech at my college. It was moving and it made me feel good because we finally got rid of Bush whom I never supported since 2000. Had I been able to vote in both elections, I would've voted to keep him out of Office.

It's called the debating, and when you debate, you state your opinion, and when another person decides to refute your statement, you support your opinion. And yet, I get this.

I thought that what our school did today was completely ridiculous. Actually... I think what our COUNTRY did today was completely ridiculous.
Barack Obama is not a celebrity. He is not the messiah. He is not a prophet and he is not a rockstar. But the media and this country are treating him like one. It's completely disgusting and inappropriate and thank the spirits that he is not an evil man. Then way these people are blindly following Obama is exactly how people blindly followed Hitler. (NOTE: I AM NOT COMPARING THE MEN, JUST THEIR FOLLOWING.)

I also didn't appreciate having the inauguration shoved down my throat today. Stop trying to force meaning into this event. If we wish to care, sure, coverage should be available, but if we don't, let us be. Between every bell they played patriotic music. It was obnoxious and they even PLAYED OVER BARACK OBAMA'S INAUGURATION SPEECH. I couldn't believe it. Yes, this moment is historical, but do we really need to have the projector on in the lunch room broadcasting CNN when all they're showing is the crowd?

I also don't understand how everyone was up in arms over Bush's last Inaugural Ball which cost $42mil, but yet the country is turning a blind eye to Obama's $150mil blowout. We are in an economic deficit. We do not have $150mil to spend.
Obama is not a demi-god, and he shouldn't be treated as one.

Personally, I think it's going to get worse.

Bush did great things internationally. He's a humanitarian, no matter what people say.
And I can't stand the communistic undertones of the democratic party. "Spred the wealth" will lead to no wealth for anyone. Well, except the guys up in Washington, who are spending it all.
