I was surprised when I logged on to see there was a post so recent lol. It's nice to see you too. Actually I'm going to be living in philly in september to go to Drexel. I heard there was an ITG2 machine at Strikes bowling Lounge. Is that the one you're talking about? We might be able to play dancey games together since I will not know anyone in the area at all. Chase is probably going to the same college so I can force him to come. at gunpoint.
I was talking about the one at the Neshaminy Mall. Getting to Strikes would prove more difficult as it is further away and probably doesn't have a direct bus route, whereas I can get to the Neshaminy by hopping on the 130.

I would actually go to play PIU more once I'm 18 and D&B let's me inside the place. D: Is that where you play Pump? I need to get the lowdown pretty much lol.
I haven't seen them have people outside of D&B in eons. Even if they still did that, I'm 21 and can get in anyway. Frankly, I'm kind of let down because I haven't had the chance to rub my I.D. in their faces aside from one time when I came in at 9 PM because I needed to take a piss.

NJ sucks pretty bad in terms of DDR/PIU locations too. There are two DDRSN2s and they are both inconvenient in different ways. The one at the Funplex is far and the arcade smells weird. Lots of children, the food sucks, I've pretty much grown to hate the place after they got rid of ITG2. the one at Laurel Lanes is cheap, but the operators aren't allowed to turn up the volume anymore and the right pad is pretty much dead.
8otB is still around, but if I recall, it's still a long way from where you and Chase lived in NJ.
Also, after playing pre and post-ITG hacking, DDR doesn't stack up because their pads are still jokes and are more primitive than the redesigned Pump pads that were made with the debut to freeze arrows, and with Betson, they're somehow worse than ever. I am honestly impressed at how terrible they are. I am 100% positive that they were made to be as horrific as possible while not being completely broken.

The one Pump location is at a Chuck E Cheeses. It is also an Exceed and they will never upgrade it. I can't tolerate children so this place is just terrible. I have a pile of leftover tokens for this Chuck E Cheese but I never want to go back. also very far away.
Except for that short time when they had Zero, D&B has always had Exceed 2 until last Summer when they upgraded to NXA. Having missed out on the past three games, you could only imagine by excitement to play dozens of new charts.

There used to be some regulars for the games at the Funplex and the Lanes but they've all disappeared. The only regular I've seen lately was Ninja N8, and he usually doesn't appear often. I kinda miss when there were other people to play with. Most of them were psychos, but it was still fun.
Back when I first played DDR in 2005, there was a bustling scene at the Franklin Mills mall at Time Out. We weren't Godly or insane about scores and doing the hard stuff effortlessly, but just playing 10s to see if we can do them. It's funny to think about how you were hot s**t for clearing stuff like MAXX Unlimited, or any 10 really.
Given the loneliness of the current scene, I would gladly accept being s**t again if it meant that panel-stomping were to be a social activity again. The week spent in Wildwood two summers back was a ******** blast because various people, the scary good and the newcomers, didn't give each other s**t except for a little confusion over coin orders here and there. I would love to spend another whole week down there if there was still a community.
