Personally, I'd say no. You set terms when you originally sold those items, you even acknowledged that in this post.

I see 'yes' is winning. Of course it is. Everyone wants anything they can have and as cheap as possible. I guarantee if you had put up a poll, there would have been overwhelming support for gold gens too. That's like free gold, everyone got rich and happy and there were no negative consequences, right?

I feel like current management tries to put on this act like they deserve so many chances, like everything was down to previous bad management and nothing was their fault. No really guys, we're so different we'll do things right! Then they turn around and make the same mistakes that previous management did. Continue to break promises too. This one they are even asking us to sanction, so it's totally not their fault at all. We wanted this! It feels really scummy, whether that was the intention or not.

I've stopped buying GC entirely because there are literally tens of thousands of cheap, fun items available for avatar dress up. Having to quest for a few things occasionally isn't some massive hardship, it's a reason to stick around. With everything getting re-released and all the new daily chance items, I think it would be extremely foolish to waste real money on this site unless it's specifically a ticket you are after.

To be clear, Idon't know anyone on staff personally anymore. I don't know their mentality or their motivations. This isn't directed at any one staffer or person. Please do not harass any staff members.

I would be game to see them rereleased, let a newer crowd enjoy some of the items from yesteryear or help oldbies obtain an item that was never obtainable because of scarcity. 3nodding

I have fond memories of hints being given out as to what the next monthly item is, while everyone tried to work together (or argue) to figure out the next item before we got it. I miss stuff like that, because it's little things like that which made Gaia feel more like an actual community.

Even someone as usually shy as me would pop in and join the fun!

as someone who's been playing since 2003 and bought a huge collection of these items...

I 100% support making them available for all. the more people who can enjoy them, the better. it would help balance the economy, bring nostalgic vibes, and help newer players get better footing.

and then I can finally stop being mad at myself for not buying the halo when I could have haha

I mean - the accounts that are no longer being used could be hiding items of high rarity that will never be in circulation again. So I do believe that having a few more copies around makes the saving & grinding worthwhile. As it'll be hard to get but attainable which is a huge difference.
