Im just a gaia member like everyone else.

First of all, dont talk like that, I wont answer your question or even reply to your post. Secondly, no, Im just a regular user like me and you. If you want to contact someone who is, talk to Qixter.
3. Who is Qixter?
Qixter is the main developer working on designing the battle system. Before this forum, his journal had some juicy info on the BS! Journal

7. What is the info page?
The info page was announced the other day, it basically gives alot of info on the battle system. If you missed the announcement, here you go.
1. When is the battle system coming out?
Qixter said that they do have a release date, they just arent telling us when. ninja
2. What will it cost us?
Nothing. Gaia Battle will be free to play, just like all the other gaia features.
3. What happens when you die?
You dont necessarily die...
You become "dazed". In dazed state, you cannot attack/use rings and your speed will be tremendously slowed down.
4. How do I get out of my daze?
You can wait a peroid of time and you will become undazed, you can teleport to the nearest moonfield, or there are some rings that undaze you. These rings must be used by other players.
5. What program will the battle system run on?
flajeu states that the game will run on flash, and the servers will run on java.
6. What kind of music will be in the battle system?
A "well-known" Japanese and anime music artist will be making the music for Gaia Battle. (lets hope its UVERworld! *fangirl squee*)
7. Will there be a tutorial?
Yes, Qixter states that there will be a tutorial, but it wont be that long because "we know most people dont like tutorials biggrin "
8. Will there be PvP?
Yes, but not at launch.
9. OMG RAGNAROK ONLINE COPY!!!
Um no sorry. This game isnt like ragnarok, its like Gaia....
10. Will there be events in the Battle System?
Yes, but the only confirmed one is the Halloween 08 Event.
11. Will Gaia Cash effect the Battle System?
Most of the areas of the battle system will be free. But, Qixter states that extra content and areas can be purchased using Gaia Cash. No, there wont be subscriptions. Exact content is still unknown.
1. Will we be able to use our weapons?
No. They told us this maybe a year ago? Using the items will give richer players an unfair advantage over newer/poorer players.
2. What are rings?
Rings are basically your weapons/skills. With them, you can use powers and other things to help you kill monsters.
3. How can I obtain rings?
I believe you start out with two rings. According to Qixter, players will not all start out with the same rings. The others you obtain by fighting monsters. Although this is very rare, it is possible to acquire rings from them.
4. Can I buy rings?
Sort Of. There will not be a weapons/rings shop made by gaia, but you can buy them off other gaians from the marketplace.
5. Will rings be monthly collectibles?
Still unknown.
6. What rings will there be?
All that we are absolutely sure of, is the mantis ring.
7. How do I use rings?
Click on the monster you wish to attack, then click the ring you wish to use.
8. Can rings affect our HP and other stats?
Yes. We start out with 100 HP as our max, but Qixter states that rings "can easily change it". As for other stats, its very possible as well. Its all about the rings people.
9. Are there any hotkeys for rings?
Yes. F1-F8 are your hotkeys. F1 triggers the first ring on your list, F2 triggers the second, etc. Tab can be used to locate the nearest monster. They also stated even more things about hotkeys but they arent releasing the info at this time.
10. OH NO I CANT USE ANY MORE RINGS!
You are exhausted. That means your exhaust bar is full.
11. What is the exhaust bar?
Its basically a mp bar or energy bar. Every time you use a ring it will increase. If it becomes full or you do not have enough left to use the rings, you will have to let it refill until you can use rings again.
12. How can I refill my exhaust bar?
You can stay still and it will refill slowly. You can also kneel for it to recover faster, but if your attacked while kneeling it will do much more damage.

Nope, not that we know of anyway. A pet system is coming out later in the future. (but we wont get into that >.< wink
3. Will there be boss monsters?
Im almost positive there will be. Most MMO's that have boss monsters make them alot harder to kill, so this will probably require multiple people to fight it at once.
4. Will monsters drop avatar items?
Nope. But monsters will drop gold and loot which we upgrade our rings with. Monsters also may drop rings, but its rare. At AX they stated that you would be able to combine different loots to create new items eek
5. How much gold will they drop?
We dont know! SO STOP ASKING!
