Revolution: Gaia is a movement that aims to bring concerned Gaians together and let our voices be heard through peaceful means. As someone wise in this guild has already stated, "This is not a revolt, it is a revolution!". Our guild aims to bring a voice to our complaints, suggestions, and fears and help the Gaia staff to understand their user base. More than anything, our goal is to be Heard.

Some of the issues that this guild is most passionate about are:
● Inflation and reparation of the virtual economy.
● Rule standardization, no more he-said she said!
● Being treated as people, not ATM's.
● A lessening of the Cash Shop bombardment we've seen recently.
● Trying to push Gaia to fix some of the broken and dated site features.
● Ways to speak out in a constructive and polite manner.
And of course, the thing that is most important to us, Being Heard.

Our guild is full of awesome things, we have everything from posting games to guild contests and events, we even have forums for questing, aquariums, our own market place and lots more.

I would join the guild but I know full well the situation with Gaia Online and why this is happening. All I could really do is just join in the ATS whenever I can.

It's actually not the Staff we all know and love that are ruining Gaia. In 2014 (right before the zOMG take down) Lanzer22, the creator of Gaia Online left his job as CEO, who replaced him was a corporate big wig that decided to turn this site into a cash cow. If you don't believe me, you can always look up Gaia Interactive and it's anonymous employee reviews. Lanzer22's real name is Derek Liu just to confirm this. The staff have personally posted in the company reviews telling exactly what is going on inside Gaia headquarters. Pretty much everything went to hell and management became the devil. It's not that our staff doesn't care and I will speak for them in this, they honestly do care but are forced not to by their bosses. The management that is over the staff and the board that runs Gaia now are for profits and no longer for this being a community supported by it's members and in return great content. Trust me it's not the staff that is the problem. If you really want to make an impact on this site, make your own customer reviews towards the company Gaia Interactive. The words are not going to go very far here.

I guess that's a piece of advice 0.0...

P.S. I am a SCAS member (beta tester) for this site and even though I told you this, it won't get me in trouble because it is public knowledge.

We understand that completely, no worries there.
However, our guild's main purpose is to create a discourse, to show Gaia how many members are devoted to opening fair channels of communication and how passionate we are about rebuilding the community we once had. Without voicing our concerns there is no chance we'll be heard. At least by trying we stand the tiniest chance of seeing a change for the better. We do encourage fair and calm reviews on other sites and the like but our main drive is to utilize the avenues available here on site for the staff to see.

Leaving is contrary to our goal. We love this site and it has been home to most of us for over 10 years. We want the administration to listen to their user base. We want to urge them to make changes for the better, changes that reflect that they want this place to be more lucrative, not just through item sales. There are parts of this site that some users visit specifically for, and they are dwindling because of lack of updates. Regardless of "old code" or whatever, there are updates that could be made that are as simple as new items that could make a world of difference to users. We want to provide staff with options and opinions that could keep our home alive. We just can't leave and find our joy in trying to help with what we can.
