I don't think there is an option to delete a guild or a clan. And I'm not sure of reporting is a good idea since I;m not sure whether the clan is simply deleted or the owner is banned as well D: The best solution would be to simply leave the thngs as they are and forget about the clan once you have created a guild. or simply empty the forums of the clan and ban all members.

Is there any way to quit deleted guilds (or at least hide them)? I finally went through my guild list and removed all the ones I don't look at anymore, and I'd rather not have a guild that was deleted 5+ years ago listed on my profile.

Sorry if this question has been asked already.

That's odd, you should have been made to quit the guild the moment it was deleted. From what I know, you are able to hide a guild on its homepage, just above the field using which you make donations, but I assume you are unable to access a homepage of a deleted guild (sorry, I have mo experiences as such and I simply don't know it that's possible). The ultimate solution that comes to my mind is to delete the guilds panel in your profile tomake all of your guilds invisible.

Yeah, it just gave an error page when I tried to access it. Bah; I was hoping to have the guild I'm making right now show up in there. Nothin' doing, I suppose; I'll just add a link to the profile itself instead.

That's the best option, I suppose. I would also recommend reporting the problem in the bug report forum.

Yes, but only if you have a higher guild rank. I mean, as a captain, you can demote everyone. As a vice captain, you can demote crew members. Unfortunately, regular members have bo such possibility.

Gaia Guilds Network (GGN)

For official clarification of GGN policy, please contact one of the GGN Moderators.

General Guidelines
  • Everything inside the GGN must comply with Gaia's TOS.
Things such as cyber, abuse, racial slurs, hentai, porn, etc.. that are disallowed by Gaia's TOS are not allowed in the GGN just as they're not allowed in the rest of Gaia's forums.

  • Report things to Guild Crew and Captains first
In the GGN, the guild Captain and their crew are charged with keeping order in their guild. Most violations should be reported to and dealt with by them. Moderators are usually only needed in the case of Captains or Crew not acting to keep guild members in line or being the ones who are breaking the rules themselves.

  • Spamming GGN Advertising or Invitations is not allowed
At the moment, the only acceptable ways to advertise a GGN guild is either by placing a link in your signature, or posting in the chatterbox forum. Or if you really want to, you could buy a user ad to be displayed on the main forum page. Other methods may become available in the future. Sending invitations to users you meet or know of in the forums is fine, but massively spamming random Gaians you don't know with numerous guild invitations should be avoided.

So how does one get into a guild and what is required of you in a guild?

Simply click the JOIN GUILD buton once you have found a guild you want to join. Depending on the guild, you will be either required to write a join request and wait for a moderator to accept it or you will become a member automatically. ALWAYS read the guild's home page, you will find everything you need there.

A Guild is basically a private set of forums for like-minded Gaians. You can join as many Guilds as you would like.
Some require you to pay a joining fee, and some do not.
Some ask you to submit reasons for wanting to join which they will read before deciding to let you join or not, again, others may not.
