◇ what are patterns?
A pattern is generally a structure characterized by the repeatability of its features (wiki). There are many different kind of patterns in design, that's why I will focus on the basic patterns.

◇ basic pattern? what do you mean by that?
For me basic patterns are stripes, chequered, polka dots, plaid, camouflage, geometric and so on. Patterns like Greek Key or Paisley are too complicated for this list and will go under "misc" section.

◇ what pattern will you don't focus on?
I thought about this but I won't focus on flower-pattern, animal print or ombre-designs. I know this guide is very ambitious to begin with, therefore I need to draw boundaries. That's because don't want to go crazy here. However if you want to make I guide for either of these three patterns, you are welcomed to leave I link towards your guide and I'll link you!

◇ there are similar patterns. where i can find those?
Patterns like Houndstooth or Harlequin might go under chequered. Same goes to Madras that might fall under plaid. Or you will find it in the misc section.

◇ i think an item is in wrong category. what should i do?
Simply: Let me know in the comments and I will re-sort the item if I agree with you.

◇ i found an item that will perfectly fit in your guide but isn't listed here yet. how should i recommend it?
That's great! Help is always welcome. I surely will not get listed all of the amazing pattern items. The best way to do is the name of the item with the link towards the items and/or the recolors. And the recommendation in what category you might think it will fall under.
