Are Wild Warworn Celt and the Dark ELF ears from Strange Accidentally Archer the same tone / color ?

When i zoom in they look nearly the same ( comparing it to the dark tones of celt ) .

But on zoom out , they look a shade darker than the face for sure , but matches the shadows of the skin.

I would like to know what color Celt is so i can find the right matching ears.

First off, I made a boo boo and linked the wrong item for that image, so went and fixed that!
Now on to your question: I see exactly what you see. The ears match the darker shading but not the lighter base of the skin (face). Its also funny the ears say they are for dark elf but are not exactly the same shade not as blue black.
In my opinion you have the best match. The rest I found were just as dark. This one might be lighter? Fantasy Sylvan Elf Ears (dark elf)

Thank you , i appreciate it. Yeah i have Sylvan Elf ears. The thing about those is , that they are meant for the Original Dark ELK Skin. And even though the description for Dark ELF skin says it's " dark grey " , i always thought it was it's own tone . Sort blueish ? But more it's own distinct tone.

I will try to make the face darker then to compensate . TY again for your help.

And yah! The dark elf skin is a blue black for sure, the naming messed me up for a long time looking for this elusive dark grey. I think the warworn skin is more offblack but lighter?

Awesome! I had a list laying around I made awhile ago, so silly me for not adding it sooner. I thought of your question about ears and figured it could be helpful! (And since ElegantlyLuminous already made a proper list of ears I'd be silly to reinvent that wheel.)

The item came out on Friday.
The scheme is Anubis and the blue is Jay blue.
Similar skins will be in the blue section.

So today i found out that THESE Mythical SLOUCH Ears existed.


I already have a version of those. And the avatar i saw them on looked cool. I thought maybe i could make my own in that color scheme.

Checking their Equip list led me to believe they were using a mask instead of a skin to match the ears.

So i came here. ( hello again ) sweatdrop

The ears in Mythical Slouch i wanted to use are called " Dandelion ".

So checked your guide and found Dandie

i always check how ears look from behind. And color wise ( to me ) they seem to match the skintone.
BUT when you look at the avatar with hair and from the front . You can see a difference.

I then tried : Confectionery Baeby

and to me , the Dadelion ears match slightly better with " baeby "skin. But it's still off by maybe a tone. They look out of focus with whichever skin. And it's more noticeable with hair.

I DK , are tone in the ears items switched ? Are tones in the ears just off ?

Is there a better Dandelion skin that would match them ?

I know this is from December, eek, but I do find your observations insightful!
And your use of alternative skin tones is awesome.

So in answer, they do seem off, the ears of both dandie and baeby. I believe their color picking was not the most accurate for the ear item. I tried other skins but I always see a line of color difference where the ear starts. It is more noticeable in the front and I don’t think there is a better skin choice, oh well!
