Hmm I guess I could look for skins that do change the base shape.. but I was hoping for something cutesier than the Antipathy "Prisoner's Body".

I don't know many, I am afraid. Sometimes mods that aren't attached to a distinct arm pose (meaning a specific pose isn't listed within the item itself) will allow you to use handheld items, but its really touch and go.

Example: You can hold items while using the arms in the Amadea series, Duchess of Hearts and Duke of Hearts. This often results in "floating" items, but sometimes they work just right so they look like they're being held, cradled or locked in the crook of your elbow.

Offering Arms, Bare Arms and Bull King, however, will not. The handheld item will list themselves as being equipped but won't actually show up on your avatar.


All I can do is suggest testing any arm mods you like. In case you aren't aware, you can search for item on the dress up page and tinker around with them as though you own them. Simply use the search bar above where your items are stored and check the "all Gaia" box.
