Awesome guide! 3nodding A lot of people use images but don't know enough about them, including me. xD
I've only been over the size limit once, but I'm going to be more careful from now on.

Maybe adding specific advice for decreasing the size of .gifs would be helpful too. 3nodding I've seen someone with a .gif in their signature that was well under the limit. (I used to have one myself.) They're great to have in signatures as long as you know how to reduce their size (less frames and all that), but I have trouble finding guides for that. Dx I know what to do, but not how to do it. >.<
