I find this kinda unfair. You should atleast tell us if it is over the limit the first time we select a picture for our sig. I had my first sig for atleast 2 months before I got a Pm saying it's too big.The second one was about 2 weeks.But come on, if you're going to charge close to 80k to get our siggy back just because we didn't know till 2-wks to months before you told us is really not fair.

If I recall correctly, it takes quite a few, more than two, in fact, times of getting your signature disabled to get it up to 80,000G.

The signature limits are stated clearly below the box in which you may input your coding for your signature as follows:

Please keep signatures less than 500 pixels in size in both width and height, and a total byte-size of less than 100,000 bytes. Ability to post signatures may be removed if you do not comply with a moderator's request to follow this standard. There is a 255 character limit for signature text.

It is up to each individual user to check to see if he or she is over the limit.

Users only get their signatures disabled if it is brought to a Moderator's attention, such as PM'ed to a Moderator or seen in the forums by a Moderator, which would be why no staff member was aware of your going over the signature limit.

Um, okay, question here! ^^;;

This is the first time I've received a warning about my signature being too big in file size (which I had for a while but never noticed because it was small and not animated and I didn't really post much anyway) and I can't seem to figure out how to get it reactivated? :O

I know the idea is to to into the account area... edit profiles... but what? That page looks perfectly fine for me, and the previews still come up with the image just fine (I'm just using a tektek image now), but it doesn't actually carry over to my profile.

I'm pretty sure my sig was unfairly disabled. I've never had an issue putting a png in my sig, but for whatever reason, now I have :[
