I'm not certain that the hair clips work, on either of the animal Sketchbook items.

They do change things (that Agape doesn't) sometimes, though they don't seem to do as much as the human version or Agape.. A couple that I've tried/remember are Dragonslayer - Agape removes the colour, Sketchbook takes away a bunch of the bulk (a lot like Agape does for Rosamund's curls); Skunk Funk - Agape removes colour, Sketchbook the ponytail

And I just noticed that for the humans, sketchbook and agape each remove both ponytails from the Socials, while for us they just remove the one/we were told that's how it's meant to work and it can't do both with just agape/you'd need the other modifier for both..

O yes, I see, The clips work really well on the Dragonslayer hair! (And skunk funk)
It didn't do anything with Lapin, or Purrsuasion Play.
(But it does the exact same thing as Agape for Creme Peche)
These hair items are a little hit and miss, it's a bit confusing at times~
