math time! spreadsheets make this so much less tedious~! Pulling a text list of all the item names in a month from the page source just takes a minute and also makes the math considerably more accurate ..assuming my manual GC data entry was accurate that is sweatdrop

Assuming you pulled exactly 1 of each color of an Umami [also ignoring Angel Sub/Cloud 9 access and Angel Item box grants] the original GC value of each of these collections is:

Jan 2020: 41 items: 26,200 GC
Feb 2020: 50 items: 32,150 GC
Mar 2020: 44 items: 29,000 GC
Apr 2020: 39 items: 26,100 GC
May 2020: 39 items: 24,750 GC
Jun 2020: 33 items: 19,850 GC
Total of Jan thru Jun 2020: 246 items: 158,050 GC

Thanks Aerdian, I was wondering things might translate from RLC to GC here so I did some quick math based on your numbers.

Currently with the $5 Angel Perk, at the 195% bonus, you can get 29,500GC with $100 USD. Likely, this is worse for anyone who has to trade over to USD from another currency.

So to get remotely close to that GC amount, over 6 months, you'd need to have spent over $500** at the right times to get this collection if I had a time machine and luck of the gods to get precisely one of each item needed, sans any outside help.

So this is a 'bonus' for people who spend ~$100 each month or is fortunate enough to have a network of people to collect these items? Why not just tabulate a gift for those who spend $100USD+ on the site, or add it into the Angel Sub?

**(147,500 if at the current rate for 500, you have to buy about $550 for 162,250, at the time of 5:45pm EST on 1/10)

Thank you for posting again! It's definitely a challenging task, but it gets easier if you group up with friends! You can always try making a thread in the Achievement forum too, about looking to borrow certain items (with collateral, so neither party has to worry). There are definitely other people with high percentages out there that aren't done, too.
If all else fails, all items deflate with time, especially when they are in a lot of rerelease pools, like these are. Every two weeks we've been getting a new rig with the entire Collection available within it, and people sell multiples or unwanted items, so it's just a matter of time.
