Is there anyway that you can hide the multimedia in the new profile?

Well, not really. You can set the width and height to 0 and not put a title on the Multimedia box, but it still leaves a white bar. It sucks, I know.

I'd rather have that then the whole video, though.

Yeah. They had a search feature, but it put too much strain on the servers and took too long because there is so many threads.
I've seen that petition too. It's not going to work. They want to use Google. But that would cost too much money to do something like that, and the admins want to keep this a free site.
