This thread is a blast from the past, I love it! Thanks for putting this together. I'm enough of an oldbie that I didn't even realize some of the classic "non-existant" items actually existed now, like the Single Horn, tonfa, and contact lenses. lol I was looking through my friend list the other day and realized "single horn" was clickable in people's wish lists, and that there was ACTUALLY an MP listing, and I lost my s**t. Then I ended up here trying to figure out wtf else I missed. rofl

P.S. is the old zombie skin a thing you can get a potion for or anything? 99% of cool kids used to look like this, and I kinda miss it: like this friend's avi

as for the grombie skin, shockingly enough they did!... but you can only get it with wing stickers, which only drop from events. the potion for it costs a pretty penny if you can find listings for it on mp, but you get to pick which phase you want. the only other option for a grombie skin is a usermade remake that they did for phase 4, where the grunny layers under hairs and the mouth has been removed to allow for facemods (again, super expensive if you can ever find listings for it)

I'm gonna go look at snakes on an avatar, because for some reason I don't remember that one! The tonfa's a classic, though. I swear that and the contact lenses were on EVERY '03/'04er's wish lists, once wish lists were a thing. It was always weird to me that they didn't just release the tonfa in the shops back when they released held items. We got books, mugs, canes - but no tonfa?!

RIGHT? TekTek got me with that one, too. rofl (Also, Ron Bruise's thread spam was a classic moment in Gaia history. Do you know if anybody has screen caps of those posts?)

not one for public access- i'm almost certain that there's one kicking around in the site data for the NPCs to equip (similar to blue dragon and kung fu panda). finding that and jack are basically my personal holy grails emotion_kirakira

Gaia added a 'newest' feature to their marketplace sorting, which makes finding all sorts of fun stuff on mp! Sadly, since most of the tags are broken along with the images, I've started having to utilize webarchive- since Gaia has a javascript for redirecting the site, I'll be adding a guide on how to temporarily disable javascript in the first post.
