I just installed gaiaupgrade and everything went fine but I can't seem to find the 'runway' button sweatdrop

did you turn on the "favorite links" option? cause that replaces the Runway button
(which then ends up under the World tab, just as the hover text over the "favorite links" option explains)

Is that the same as bookmarks?

I'm on an older version of chrome so idk if that effects anything

"Faves" being the thing that replaced the "Runway" button

when using the post format, the automatic setting, it tends to put everything under a quote rather than at the beginning- I was wondering if there was a way for it to come before when quoting someone?

No. It doesn't format the quote blocks. Going forward we're implementing the GaiArch format engine which behaves the same and then some. It'll remove duplicate BBC that's found in the format.

Example:
Format

open: "[b][u]", close: "[/u][/b]"

[spoiler]Spoiler Block[/spoiler]

[u][i][b][strike]Text[/strike][/b][/i][/u]
[u]Hi[/u]
[quote][/quote]

Becomes

[spoiler]Spoiler Block[/spoiler][b][u]

Where it removes the nested bold tag from around Text and removes the underline tag from around Hi combining them where necessary to wrap around all of the text between tag blocks like the QUOTE tag. If you had text before the quote tag it would wrap that text, but would stop before the quote tags and start again after the quote tags.

This is by design. The new format engine will also have a header and footer text which will be placed at the beginning and end of the reply. You could use BBCode there and that would wrap around everything, but the purpose of the BBCode tag fields is to not wrap around quote blocks to make reading quotes easier, not have conflicting format styles and whatnot.

To also add, header and footer text is not wrapped by BBCode.

So it would be something like this:

header: "THIS IS HEADER TEXT", footer: "[align=right]THIS IS FOOTER TEXT[/align]"

open: "[color=blue]", close: "[/color]"

Quote:

THIS IS HEADER TEXT
Some reply text above the quote too

Some User

Blah blah blah

Just installed yesterday - so far it's kinda neat. One problem - where do I find the Daily chance now? Where it gives you option to do all 9? Doesn't show up anywhere!

make sure that you got Menu>Others>Daily Chance Upgrade checked
load a page with a Daily Chance Cart you haven't opened today
when you click on the cart, the "all at once" thing should open

Just installed yesterday - so far it's kinda neat. One problem - where do I find the Daily chance now? Where it gives you option to do all 9? Doesn't show up anywhere!

The userscript replaces the claw machine image. Make sure you have the Daily Chance Upgrade enabled. If you do and you haven't collected the daily chance then you'll see the GU image, click it. 3nodding

It is possible that I collected before installing, it was very early in the morning. I'll have to check again tomorrow. I've been to every screen and don't see it. Thank you both for trying to help !

I already went to the link from the Troubleshooting thread and it seemed to work fine? It opened up a page full of text at least...

I noticed that it happened after Lanzer took away the account worth section in the Inventory. Any way I could get some help please This is one of my favorite features of GaiaUpgrade, hands-down.

mine got turned off the last time the script updated , had to go to the settigns of the owned item indicator and maually trn it back on

i want to use cntrl F to find something in the alchemy forum but it doesnt work if spoilers are closed
