Hey, I'm new to this whole Gaia Upgrade stuff. I noticed that it doesn't let me submit replies when GaiaUpgrade is enabled. In order for me to submit replies I need to disable GaiaUpgrade itself, and then it will let me submit.

Quick reply seems to be working just fine

I was wondering if there's some stupid easy fix or if I've just encountered a bug.

I'm currently using Firefox, and the only other Extension I have active is Adblock.

So at present, with the Gaia labs color switcher for GaiaUpgrade, you get a set number of "preexisting" backgrounds for Gaia. However one of the features of BetterGaia was being able to have a background of your choosing (IE Uploading something to Photobucket and using the links provided by photobucket to use that image as your back ground)

but if that's already in GaiaUpgrade, then mine isn't showing it

It seems like I'm using version 1.0.3, I found this by going to the about section.
I just downloaded it about an hour ago, also removing it and re-downloading it and still having issues.

Edit: Actually for some reason It's working agian. I'll let you know if it stops working again.

Ah, okay. That's what I thought you were talking about, but I wasn't sure.
Currently we do not have that. I created a ticket in our system for Unheard, we'll work out the details of implementation and add it once we have that worked out. 3nodding

This is an issue we've long since patched. It's because you removed all of the post formats – you can either disable it for each post you make by unchecking the checkbox to the side or unsetting the default format.

We fixed it in 1.1, but because 1.1 - 1.2.0 had links to Imgur they were retroactively disabled by Mozilla upon review of 1.2.1.

We released 1.3, but they also recently rejected that because of how we inject data returned by Gaia from the requests we make.

Well we don't listen to every whim, but if it's reasonable and fits for what we do then it's likely to be added.

There are a number of things we won't be adding to the extension, some of which we've discussed publicly, others we've discussed internally and never made it either past early development or into production.

GaiaUpgrade is apart of a larger body, Gaia Tools. Gaia Tools has existed for 11yrs now. So as long as the group has at least one developer it'll be worked on. Which I've used Gaia Tools since 2007 or 2008 and am now the lead developer for it. I have every intention of pushing the site and it's products forward.

For the extension I mostly just work on the core of it. Unheard works on most of the components.
