Hey, I'm having an issue I don't know how to fix?
GaiaUpgrade was working 100% fine until last night it just... suddenly stopped working? The upgrade tab is gone, no notification of wishlist listings, no showing what items I own, etc.
I click my Tampermonkey extension and it still says that GaiaUpgrade is on...

[I'm on Chrome on a Windows 10 laptop... idk if that's relevent but just putting it out there ^^U I'm not good at these things OTL]

Just inform you, I switched to a animal form in the avatar tab. Once I went back to change I could not, I continued messing with settings and even attempted to use a potion to change back. None of it worked. The only way to fix it was to turn off the script for gaiaupgrade.

This is one of many reasons why we're moving away from using script managers in favor of a browser extension.

Have you tried uninstalling TamperMonkey and re-installing it? You might want to save your post formats before uninstalling it. I don't know what the issue would be, sorry. gonk
On the plus side, the extension won't have these issues of randomly not working. 3nodding

So my gaiaupgrade stopped working. I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it but its not on the firefox add ons?

edit;; ok so i got it back because there was an under and its under the user scripts
but wishlists feature doesnt work
-cant see what items i already own and the dropdown at the bottom for what to do with them disappeared
also cant generate code to post wishlists
and now the menu tab is gone

If I uninstall TamperMonkey would I have to reinstall all of my scripts again? I have multiple for deviantART that I'm not sure I'd be able to locate again? ;w;
EDIT: Okay so I managed to locate all of my scripts, so I uninstalled and reinstalled TamperMonkey [and my scripts haha]
And it's fixed! I have GaiaUpgrade again! I look forward to it becoming it's own extension in the future so this won't be an issue haha! ^w^

There are known issues that started happening after Lanzer made changes to the inventory system. I'm not sure if your issue has to do with that or not. gonk

We actually have the fix. I knew how to fix it immediately - even if it hadn't broken we'd still use the new method of checking owned items because it's faster.

That said. We currently are not supporting the userscript any longer in favor of the standalone browser extension. We have several modules already completed. Unheard is just going through now and making sure the modules are all properly working in the full release.

I've submitted a beta version of what we have to Firefox; though it does not implement a good number of the modules completed. That beta version is pending approval in Mozilla's long, long approval queue. gonk
I've poked at it a bit, trying to get Firefox to install a self-signed extension from Gaia Tools, but no luck. On my local machine it says the download fails and on the server it says the extension is corrupted. gonk

So for now, it's just a waiting game... Sorry. sweatdrop
