I would have to look into how the async notification feature works. It's on the to-do list, since there's some enhancements around it that we have discussed, but that is still a ways out.

mine been working fine...

but mainly posting to share my experience with the notifier... i've noticed trying to set up notices on a mule account that it remembers things from the last account you used it on and not by account so unless the wishlist items overlap the OG ones won't show

Back again!

Wasn't sure if this was a GU or Gaia feature, and with the builder update what may have broken it.
Before the 1st pose of an item had an indicator if owned/wishlisted (red)
but seems to be gone now, any info?

Looks like there's some issues after Gaia made changes to the avatar builder. We'll have to adjust for that sweatdrop

hi! i'm sorry if this has been asked before, but when tagging users, i've noticed that tags will not show up when i switch from my laptop to my desktop (and vice versa).
so if i gave someone the tag "funny user" on my desktop, when i log onto my laptop it will not show up.
i use GU and google chrome on both my devices, so i'm not sure if it's a browser issue, or just how GU is set up.

It's on our to-do list, but with the other things currently planned it's a lower priority.
You can export your settings from one computer and share the file with another computer to import it.

GaiaUpgrade settings > About > Export Preferences > save that to a file
Share the file and then import it. It's not ideal, but should work. This will overwrite your current GU settings

Signature Visbility/Hiding

1. (important) I'd noticed an issue with the signature toggle not always working, on one page of a thread I'd see someone's signature but on another page it'd be hidden. I've finally spotted the pattern: posts before my signature-containing-post work as expected but posts located after (and including) my own signature-containing-post do not have a signature toggle. If I blank my signature the toggles will return for those after mine. Changing my signature to a single character still causes the issue so I can at least tell it's not the BBCode of my signature causing the problem.

2. (not important) It might be nice if there was an option for the button to look different when a signature is being hidden. I definitely understand benefits of the button not changing in case that's a reminder of what's hidden. Sort of depends on what reason you tend to hide them for, I mostly hide for something being too animated/distracting but for others it may be something is a trigger and so best kept it fully out of sight/mind. So that's why I wonder if it could be a feature and optional.

Gaia Tools v4 is live!

With this update we have overhauled the entire design of the platform, as well as built from the ground up the entire back-end.

Although, most of the work has been done in the last year and a half. This update has been a work in progress for much longer. Mostly in part due IRL commitments.

That said, the Gaia Tools platform is now in a really stable position to have much more development. So, what does this mean for all of you?

This will allow us to make new features faster both on the Gaia Tools platform and for GaiaUpgrade.

There are some known issues that will be worked on in the coming days, so if something doesn't work it will be fixed soon. There's also some previous features that are missing, those will also be worked on in the near future. We wanted to get this update out sooner than later.

If you think this is the only big update we have in the works, you just keep your eyes peeled in the coming months! We will release more information at a later date as things progress.
