Does anyone have the latest information on the Gaia pledge or updates to the forum flair list? I noticed there hasn’t been much clarity on how the flairs are being assigned or updated since the last BFS update. Are there any new features or changes we should be aware of? Looking forward to hearing thoughts or updates from the community!

I don't understand your question. There's a few different types of flairs/pledges - monthly ones (usually released around the 15th of the month), usermade (user inspired) flairs using a ticket that release occasionally, coupons and direct buys to name a few. At this particular time I have seen no change in the function of flairs/pledges.

This may be a silly question and I'm sorry if I missed it in the first page... but how does ones get the animated version of the flairs? When I go to the Gaia Pledge page, it seems to only be the static ones?

I may be wrong but I believe only the users who created those get copies and they do what they want with them, like sell or give away.
Then there are the animated flairs that Gaia themselves sell, not on the Gaia Pledge page. I believe they sold one during Black Friday sale

The above answer is correct - and I do have this covered in the FAQs on the front page [it's actually the first post/op] with exception to the part about the choice generator for animated flairs that did pop up again during BFS. I'll see about changing up some coding to see if I can highlight this information better since this question pops up rather frequently. I even have a whole FAQ reference sheet so I can just copy + paste answers, which I'll leave my full answer for this question below.

What they do with the copies afterwards is up to them. This may include but is not limited to: handing out to friends, collab members, or setting their own price to sell at.

After a period of time there is a chance that the flair will be added to a coupon RIG (animated seems to be with a minimum of a $100 USD purchase of GaiaCash) or occasionally sold in direct buy sets (where you can choose one from a selected batch of animated flairs) during the Black Friday Sale.

I don't link to any usermade animated versions because of this - as there is no sure way to obtain a copy. Also there's a thing called a character post limit, and I've hit it too many times with just the normal flairs/pledges so it's hard to keep up with it.

Hello, can someone explain to me how "Gift of Turquoise" works?

Does it simply display a turquois bottle near your name, or does it have some sort of special effect?
I can't find any descriptions, and in the Marketplace, they show "examples" of items with it's supposed "effect." Looks pretty cool.
Yet, when I try to equip it to multiple avatars, it doesn't seem to change anything.

Would appreciate any info! ★

Yah the icon, the turquoise bottle, will show up beside your username. It does nothing to your actual avi. Gaia sells many of these flairs that do have a special effect that adds color behind your username only. Again, it doesn't add anything to your actual avi. Gift of Turquoise is one of many flairs that doesn't have any special effects, it just shows up beside your username I believe.
