Trick or...

Allvanishing, you broke the header again. I see the header background left and right of my header and I disabled the option to have the header background stretched, which always worked until you updated BG.

Yes, it broke after i released the update. It first look like this,


But with the new instant updating feature introduced in the latest update, BetterGaia looks as it does in your post. I can't unfortunately fix the sides with instant updating, so it will have to be fixed in the next normal release.

Happy Halloweek BetterGaia!
I wanted to mention that my set up is working beautifully now, and looks fantastic.

I also was wondering if you are ever going to consider adding more backgrounds to the Personalize area, or maybe more spots to add our own? Right now there is only one spot for "custom url" which is a pity, because I would like to be able to have my "regular" bg on hand, and my custom 'event bg' as well. (that way I wouldn't have to go searching for my 'usual' bg url once I'm done with the background i put up for the event.)

Could you perhaps make the area where the poster's avatar is placed a little wider for as long as the event is running? In the event forum you see a black back on thr right side of that frame which partially covers the posts and makes them harder to read.

.: [ I think I was getting a similar issue as you, but I think its something gaia itself is doing. I found sometimes when I went into the event forum through the forum portal it didn't always give me an option to attack or anything, but when I went through the header (the pumpkin things) it usually worked.
I haven't had the issue today though (and not 100% sure its the same thing) ] :.

Will BetterGaia ever return to firefox/is there somewhere firefox users can download the old last xpi released before firefox was dropped? Chrome/Chromium sucks, and I prefer to use firefox, but I miss bettergaia.

BG making forums look all messed up on firefox? Dx Stupid Chrome stops working every once in awhile and it's pretty annoying. -.-
