Pro tip to Firefox users: get the NoScript add-on. It blocks the Fatcow redirection (as well as unwanted ads). I was ALL OVER my Chrome earlier trying to make it stop happening there and had no success. I even spent 20 minutes trying to explain the problem to a dude in one of Fatcow's support chats. Another pro tip: they are useless. He didn't even speak English very well and couldn't spell my name right although it was right there on the screen in front of him.

          It should work on either. NoScript is a good Firefox add-on, and AdBlock Plus is on Chrome, as the person who first quoted me pointed out (scroll up and read that post).
