Is the Chrome version of the add-on more updated? I'm finding options to change the forums header colors, as well as a few more header background options.

Yeah, the Chrome extension was updated more recently than the Firefox one.
We haven't had an update for FF in several months, so we're a bit behind Chrome. sweatdrop

I am wondering if there is some way to save my settings using BetterGaia so that if I were to download the extension on a different computer, I could somehow just load my settings from the original computer? Or is that a feature that you might consider in the future?

Also, after downloading the extension, it's screwed around with the background color on my profile. It was originally black, and it works just fine if I view it on an incognito window (which has no extensions enabled), but if I have BetterGaia enabled, the background color is white. The element inspector doesn't seem to indicate anything particularly useful.

if you're a firefox user, go to Tools > Add-ons > Extentions > remove which ever Add-on that is listed.

Normally without BetterGaia, you have to go to the "Gaia Labs" page (which is under the My Gaia menu) to install the background option, but they only offer one illustrated background to use. In BetterGaia however, you have to access the Add-On window to make the editing, not only you can use Gaia's default illustration background, but also they'll upload other used Gaia special event forum backgrounds for you use. You can even upload your own background image if you're not satisfied with neither of them.
