I don't like setting CSS for posts since Gaia could change them at any moment, but you're right about what's causing the problem.

BG doesn't add emoticons. You should recommend them to Tekton, he might add them to his add-on. or get GaiaTools add-on and set the macro editor to replace text such as maybe something like :catlol: to the cat version of the lol

If your using Firefox go to Tools - Add-ons - Find BG then click disable

I'm not sure what the steps are to remove BG if your using Chrome though.

i found out how and im using Google Chrome Tools > Extensions > Than just disable it

1. Changing forum bar colors (I want to change it from the default brown)
2. The box in the top right corner is very oddly formatted for me.

1. No clue if Allvanishing has plans for adding customization or not, sorry.
2. The box in the right hand corner is being affected by Gaia Labs Color Switcher.
If you deactivate it, the weirdness will be gone.
