btw i made a whole new profile on firefox and tested better gaia and it still had the remove the custmied button thing

and this test profile had no add on besides the net framework one and then disabled avg addons ( i hate those stupid avg D< )
so unless it the net framework one( doubt it xD ) it is not an addon compatibility thing xD

it is a bettergaia clashing with Firefox itself from what i can tell

I usually love BetterGaia, but I'm really not digging that I can't turn off the floating on the shortcuts/online friends/pms/GIM. Like to the point that I want to uninstall it. Maybe I'm just stupid and can't see where to turn it off, but if there isn't an option I REALLY want to see it. I like it to be at the top and stay there, not float with me. I was so uber excited and loved it until I scrolled and it stayed with me.

And yes, I have 'Float shortcuts bar on top of page' unchecked. I thought it might be a glitch until I noticed my username didn't float with it and the front mentioned about the floating added.

This was just a pretty quick fix, I think. We're due for a better one soon enough, I'd guess!

I know people have noticed the same problems, this is what I'm seeing quite often...



Whenever the shortcuts bar is over on the left, the drop down doesn't work properly.
I'm seeing this mainly when I click on my shop under My Gaia, which has a php string to pull the most recent page.
I have seen it in other places this morning, though, including the homepage, Trades, and the MP.

I am running:
Firefox 3.5.3
BetterGaia 0.2.2.7

I noticed that magically my search bar is on the left side of the nav bar instead of where it usually is on the right. I don't know if this is BetterGaia's doing but it didn't happen until after I installed it. It's kind of like what people were saying was happening to their shortcuts, except it's with my search bar on Firefox o.o

P.S., you know the little rollover button thing you have to log out, go to account, and help? Well, my username is so long it shows up under the 'y' and 'p' in 'Hyper'.It still works, if I scroll over it it still comes up, I just thought I'd throw it out there.

The background image is not fixed. Shortcuts and such seem to be a bit off, other than that, it's fine!

EDIT: I tried a background that was 9000px long and it seems something in the coding is making it cut off at after about 1000 px.

I know there's an option to turn the footer off, I knew there would be an option even before it was released because there were just so many complaints that they had to add the option. Glad they did, I have mine set to off but it's being glitchy and not going away.

The white part of the background continues for the rest of the page. It's like that for every background, custom or pre-made.

Also, a possible feature for the future could be where users could make their own bar color schemes and headers...that'd be fun.

For a while I was using someone elses laptop and D: EUGH gaia was just not that same. Did not want.
Only thing is what Goddess The Hyper Fangirl brought up about the shortcuts link floating when we don't want it to.
Also, I'm not sure if anyone's said this before (I did try to look) but the "my guilds" in the shortcuts is appearing though I've got it unchecked in my settings. :]
But it's all gravy in the navy. <3 Thanks for the awesomeness of the update! ]+:.
