Hello! Very close to getting the 1,000 ghosts killed achievement (9 more to go!)

I was looking for achievement threads but they are hard to find because I was interested in knowing the platinum rewards for completing achievements (if there are any). I have earned quite a few achievements but I never thought to pay attention to see if I got plat from earning them.

By 1000 ghosts, you mean the zOMG badge, right? There are no monetary rewards for completing zOMG badges, but ghosts do drop a fair bit of platinum, so killing them is reward in itself. A zOMG badge guide can be found here.

Are there any rewards for Achievements? Also if there is is there a List of the rewards?

I've been around a long time, yes lol The rewards for Achievements are the titles that get unlocked. Each achievement has its own set of unique titles that you can use for under you avatar. You also get points for each achievement, but currently those are mainly just for show. There aren't any item or platinum rewards for completing them.

It's almost painful to try and get the rest of the points now for the remaining achievements. It's like nearly everyone is done with the event and there's not many people playing the game in the threads. Most time it's solo work, or maybe 1 or 2 other people.

Were you doing it in " hard mode " ? Doing the staff threads ?

I'm not sure if they were staff threads. I just choose whichever threads were showing at the top, since that meant at least someone posted in it very recently. Was trying to find even semi-active threads. I never looked at who made the threads though.

They were all hard mode though. I do remember noticing that.

Thanks for the links 3nodding I had already finished this weekend, but they'll be helpful for others reading the thread!

Those two were threads I had actually frequented a lot because at least one of them would be at the top of the page with recent activity. I remember the titles. So they are staff and NPC threads, hadn't even noticed lol

I'm kinda surprised we don't have more vote achievements. Like didn't gaia have it's own elections a while ago and Diedrich was president? We should keep having those elections, they are fun, and deserve achievements and titles like ... I dunno... 'corrupt' or 'undecided'.

(we got a voter achievement in 2016. I don't even know who won that race because gaia didn't make a deal out of it.)

So what about 2020? We didn't get to do vote for Trash Can or Sleepy Old Man in a Wheelchair.

Personally I'm in favor of Professor Duckworth, the Duck that wandered into a university's staff lounge and then accidentally got hired, so has been teaching math and law for the past 8 years and the university is trying to get her to run for Gaia's president because she's become smarter than the rest of them and put them to shame.

Mari the Djinn would obviously be a good choice, but is disqualified for... [ominous pause] reasons.

But knowing us we are lucky to elect a wild tiger. Not a smart tiger, like Duckworth is smart, nor special in any way like our Trash Can is "special". Just a normal, savage tiger who doesn't even know they got the job.

Come on Gaia, The illusion of democracy is important! You've gotta let us throw away our vote every 4 years.
