The nestegg was so cool this week I love the skelectal parrot. I think Dander was pretty much as I expected and it was kind of a disappointing last phase considering the last is supposed to give the best stuff.

Those T shirts look promising kinda. a 49 cent EI seems destined for mediocraty. Plus it's just letters... I'm hoping we get shirts like Feenie's here (just in case you're wondering it's from Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations)

I think that the theme is more than a little based on PotC but they aren't doing it EXACTLY the same (just a hell of a lot xd ). I find the Davy Jones to be pretty cool. The kraken is so varied in look that it's hard to pin down just one image so I think they did pretty good here. Also Every time I hear about a kraken I remember the episode of Catscratch with the Kraken who would yell "HI-HO KRAKEN!!!"

I do like the idea of Kraken-tentacles but curses they shouldae been more brown intead of blue, now I can't use them as a parallel for one of my characters. Daymn xF

I'm a bit bummed that only two items evolved, but... Love, love, LOVE the nestegg and the avi I made thanks to it biggrin Looks creepy, no?

As for the trolls' names... well, you're looking at someone who loved the myths as a kid.

Skadi was a giant and the goddess of skiing and hunting. She was also the daughter of the giant Thjazi. He was killed by the gods after kidnapping the goddess Idun, so Skadi armed herself and traveled to Asgard to get revenge. To avoid blood spill the gods asked her to chose any of them as her husband, but only by looking at their feet and nothing else. She choose a pair believing them to belong to Baldr, but they turned out to belong to the Njordr. Their marrige didn't last since they couldn't decide where to live - she longed for the mountains and he longed for the sea.

Ran was the sea goddess, specifically the ocean depths. She has a net to capture anyone venturing out to the sea, and anyone who dies by drowning in the sea (usually referred to as "being taken by Ran" ) arrived at her hall.

Aegir was her husband, and depending on the myth a giant. Together they had nine daughters. He liked to host big parties for the gods, which where probably popular since the ale poured itself wink

Hymir was the giant fishing with Thor when the latter caught the World Serpent Jörmungandr. Hymir was afraid of what'd happen if Thor killed it, so he cut off the fishing line. IIRC Thor kills him because of that.

I should probably note here that giants in the Norse myth weren't always big, some where the same height as humans, and that in later folklore trolls took over some of their traits, which would explain why the changelings are trolls rather than giants. Also, the myths varies from place to place, i.e. in one version Skadi used to be the lover of Loki. There's more info about Norse myth, the gods and the giants on Wikipedia :3
