Monthly collectable. They come out with a thank you letter every month and it opens on the 15th. You can buy them from the cash shop and when the 15th comes around you get to open it and you get to choose one of the items inside. It's a nice tradition.

Agreed backgrounds are quite a popular feature lately. It seems like many EIs and MCs are including them. I wonder if Picolitrosso and Death Whisper will include any. I think it would be interesting to get a kingdom background for the Enchanted Book.

I could see those happening. I'd be a little surprised by the Book and Death Whisper doing those since they all seem like the parts that should have really cool backgrounds have happened al ready. By which I mean the ball or the servant room etc. for the Enchanted Book; or the stages of Hell that are entered by the Death Whisper.

I kind of thought "Mothra" too. I think the Mothman is the most likely of theories, though Mothra is my favorite of the Godzilla series kaiju. Maybe the indrid valescens is Battra? He was the evil counterpart to Mothra and had much more devastating attacks. Fairies seems like a good theory too, but it's still too early to tell.

I thought the same thing about the Death Whisper. We haven't gotten a background from it, but I suppose its trademark is the constant skins and eyes it gives us, as well as the weapons (did we get a skin this phase?). Picolitrosso's Urn has its masks and Venetian Carnival clothing, but a firey sunset background would be sweet. The Enchanted Book is most likely to produce a background; the castle in full detail, perhaps?
