Halloween!!!
The Roc is a behemoth bird so large it could blot out the sun for the surrounding area. It's main locale was India, I think, because it would carry off elephants in it's talons and eat them. Pictures of a Roc doing so made the elephant look like a plush doll. Them some scary shitz

Roc was also know as Bird of Thunder and I think that was from American Natives legends. If I remember good, this bird was seen in time of great thunderstorms when it's giant body could fly thanks to strong wind's blows.
I heard this elephant part, but I think what was made by Europeans to compare how huge that creature could be. Still I can be wrong.

*shrug* There have been spotting of many of the same creatures world wide. Like most cultures have a vampire-entity. Also brownies, imps, dwarves, elves, faeries, ect. *shrug*

Oh, you know what? I would love it if we got dragons like Saphira from the Wish. ^.^
We've never gotten dragons before. I know this will probably get me murdered, but I love Eragon and I would love to get some dragons like the ones in the book.

You know what I think would be cool?
If the fallen wish took the forms of all the big well known constellations. Such as big bear little bear . The zodiacs Leo,Scorpio etc.
