How can we best use this to defeat the fools?:
It's the most broken of end game Easter weapons. That super epic rare drop in a game like Diablo or WoW (hence the absurdly elaborate name) that pretty much annihilates big baddies in one or two hits and has an AoE that would clear half a stadium. It probably also shoots lightning out of the top or something. Because arcane. Diedrich and co aren't even mini-boss status, so I'm preeeetty sure a magical glowing egg of infinite power embedded in a fearsome badass rabbit battleaxe would make short work of them!

How can we best use this to defeat the fools?:
*setting: Easter/April Fools 1714*
The Fool's are surprising us from every corner with tricks
The Easter bunnies can do nothing but sit back and watch their comrades perish
The only thing keeping them going is hope and will power
SuDdEnLy
The Easter bunnies' old ally Pios show up
And they didn't come empty handed emotion_kirakira
Sorry that took me so long! Hope you don't hate me!
Thank you! emotion_kirakira And nobody hates you! I certainly wouldn't dream of it. Delays happen. emotion_hug
I put it off for literally no reason. :/
Iβm a bad person lok
If procrastination makes one a bad person, I am SO going to hell.
hey, at least we will like the company?
Talking to you reminds me I should do something with gIB, but itβs hard when gaia doesnβt care about scifi any more
So make them care. smile Lots of people miss the Zurg plotline stuff in general, so I'm sure there are plenty of lurking GIBers and Legion members who'd jump on board if you really wanted to organize something.

Ive tried in the past! Tried to do a nice event for the ten year anniversary!

That might be the problem. Many people just focus on event tasks/item collecting when there's a big site-wide thing. I know I do. Also forum posts during those times move way too fast to get maximum first page views without bump spam (though if it's a particularly grindy event, there'll be a lot of eyes-glazed-over forum burnout instead).
Maybe don't compete with official stuff if you try it again? You could possibly piggyback at the end of one (which may backfire if people are sick of forum stuff by then), or jump on board a smaller geeky 'holiday' like Pi Day, May the Fourth, Towel Day, etc. The kind of thing where people tend to check the forums just in case there's a free grant, and would be more likely to stick around if something looks interesting.
Another option might be to schedule something during a more broad but socially active time, like Pride Month. Considering the ridiculous percentage of Gaians who are LGBTQ, that might be a good choice if you can figure out a theme/gimmick that can believably tie in with both Pride and GIB/Zurg stuff - which in itself may attract more attention because of the unexpected uniqueness of the topic overlap.

That's a thought! I probably couldn't pull it off this year, but maybe next year!

Well whenever you do, feel free to hit me up via PM or Discord for brainstorming. Idea vomit is one of my strong suits, and I'd love to help.

Thanks! Maybe I will! What's your discord?
PMed it. I'm usually lurking in the D-Party channel though.
