It's Gaia way of scamming you for quick cash. Don't buy into it. You should buy other things from the cash shop with your money and make more selling those on the MP than with Flynn.

Well, I buy each time they are released because it increases my main account's gold count, which I don't touch and which I like to see grow. Simple as that.

And no one really should guilt trip others into not buying what they wish. Because the moment people begin to march around 'advising' people with underhanded petty threats on how to spend their money... chances are, they're not going to follow the others' will and chant the mantra and be all for the others' 'cause'. Chances are, the Flynn-buyers will go from buying three bundles to six.

Yes, us Pro-Flynners ARE out there. We can buy what we wish with absolutely no guilt or fear of reprisal because that's how it works.

Oh, and as I recall, when I was posting harmless little quips and advice in the Anti Flynn forums some months ago, I was viciously reported into the ground. So I know the base nature of this 'movement'. Hopefully I am not pinpointed in this case when I was merely answering a legit and solid question.

This so much. People here need to really put on the mature cap and not trip over others buying the chests. I have mentioned before in some threads where cash buyers were simply being trashed on. What we do with our ' earned' money is our damn business, asking someone not to buy chests simply to feed your need to get more shinies is being just as selfish. Why would I stop someone else from having fun with what they are endowed to do?
I buy chests because I like gold, but that doesn't mean I don't love this site.
A ton of people here say that Gaia is ruining the economy, but I think it is the latter. We have control of how we react to others and lashing out just because someone else wants a gold generator is still not a cause for such monstrosity, name calling and the works.

I guess it's the nature of the gamble that catches people. That, or they don't think these things through.

From what I usually see, people who buy them because
A) It's a quick, easy way to get gold when those items aren't in the Shop in a Flash Sale

B) They like having a lot of gold- not necessarily spending it (which inadvertently helps deflation a little- if a vast sum of money isn't being introduced into the market and it just held onto instead).

C) Extra Cash lying around, maybe get lucky, so they figure why not?

Overall, I think it does more harm than good, and if you are spending GCash anyway you might as well wait for a flash sale- and probably get a better deal.

But that's just the thing, I'm not at all bothered by Flynn or her rambunctious body parts, so a change wouldn't affect me, but that's only because I no longer make dream avi's or quest anymore. But I do wish this whole flynn thing was a done deal, but with gaia now a days, anything is possible. razz As for caring, you are one of the rare few :>. If people cared about others happiness,they would have stopped buying long ago and Flynn wouldn't have made it this far.

I wasn't around for the release of any other booty or chest but I hate generators in general only because I have terrible so that's main reason A why I hate gaia for releasing them. Item generators are so much better.

If the average item in the cash shop is $1.00=1million but from hearing flynns booty gets you crap, why the hell do people buy it? Your better off buying more cash an investing in something worth more or saving your cash?
