What's your main way of earning gold on Gaia?

To be honest, I just buy cash and buy the stuff I want in the CS, or sell the item generators to buy what I want in gold. I wish there was a way to get gold for posting non-spammy posts in the forums at a decent level, but I don't think there's a way that wouldn't be abused. So, I don't know, maybe better free games that aren't freemium bullshitty. I thought about doing Lake Kindred when it was new, but you have to pay cash for all the best new Kindred, so I was like, ******** it. No point playing this if it's going to eat up more than I'm making to be at all fun. I'd rather just spend cash on stuff for my avatar.

  lately i've been making decent gold cleaning out and organizing my inventory
i had like 6k items and now i'm down to 4.5k it's taking awhile...

i also do the video offers till i have 99gc and buy a rig!
sometimes i get lucky and win an expensive item and sometimes not so much
BUT you can normally get items worth a few billion and i'm ok with that!
if i'm diligent i can maybe buy 1 or 2 rigs a day but lately i've been lazy lol

i'm really interested in the sycamore farming in lake kindred so i am slowly starting to get into that too

honestly, i wish you earned a bit more by posting?
or i wish there were more good, non-broken games to make gold in...
posting in the slow forums and grinding in the slow lake kindred game is all gaia really has to offer right now imo lol!!

How do you earn gold?
I do a little bit of everything.
Cleaning out my hoard of item I no longer use at times, a little bit of vending, a little bit of scyamorte hunt or RIG farming in LK.
Honestly, I am quite content, so I have been taking it easy with gold grinding that I am only grinding when I am bored or procrastinating.
a hundred of billion is enough for me to get by, so If I regulate my spending with what I am able to earn to keep the amount stable, I am all good.
item around 10B or below are enough to keep me happy. hahaha, pretty low standard, am I not?

Where do you feel you should be able to earn the most gold?
Effort, I think it's where there's effort put in the most, there should be more reward.
I can't really think of place where I should earn gold since I am already content.

I earn gold through LK, both... uh, directly and indirectly. I have a Sakura so I can chop through trees like butter, but I tend to get a little stir crazy if I spend too much time in the woods. At the moment, I'm hoarding all the RIG's from Fafnir's. I'll open them in batches of 100, sort through the stuff, Dumpster super cheap items, sell the rest on the Marketplace. So, I mean, I technically get money from the Market, but y'know. whee

I don't really feel like I need to make any more money though. I guess I'm still holding a small grudge against the tree payout nerf, but I don't think I have the right to complain, honestly.

Because, yeah, I'm happy with how much I earn. I can usually treat myself to cheap lil items at least once a week if I feel like it. biggrin

I make most of my gold exchanging, which is buying items I see for under average buy price primarily (or close), while paying attention to the total gold revenue graph for an inflation to hopefully sell it above average buy price or at very least more than I bought it for. I buy primarily cash shop limited items or RIG items. Sometimes I also have a buying thread so people will sell me cheap things but it takes a bit more time than I've had lately.
I also have a pink fluff, along with the donation here and there if I'm lucky.
I haven't had much luck vending sad so I stick to my method since it mostly works.
Edit I also earn gc in offers sometimes and I just buy items from my mules. That way I don't have to earn the whole 99 cents minimum to get an actual cs item, and I can still get a little gold.

I RIG farm in LK. Keep what I like and don't already have, sell extras and what I don't like, send what I can't sell to the Dumpster. I've made more gold over the past several months than I ever have on here just by doing that.

Back when Gold Gen. first came out, I bought those (sadly) then I realized how bad of an idea it was to encourage that s**t.
Then I would donate to loyal, sell all the items I got from the kick-starters, and now I just don't buy anything.
So I'm sitting on the gold I have had for literally a year, and I increase it by selling items and posting here and there.

Down side is all the money I did spend could be used for a ton of better things...

I would play LK as a source of gold income, but I don't have that much free time in my life right now. The grinding aspect of the game can get tiring really quickly too, but its great that it rewards LK players very well.

I get gold from Lake Kindred mostly. Both from the actual game and selling the things I get as drops or in the RIGs. Sometimes I still pop over to play some Booty Grab. It's not quite as lucrative though.

I mostly just grind in LK while doing homework or something else and sell off all the RIG items I don't want.

Occasionally I'll sell something I don't really use if I see it's going for a decent price.
