What does anyone even do on Gaia anymore?

for the most part, i lurk, dress my avatar (and buy new items for it), and rarely post in a thread here and there. i've got a few friends i've made here recently, and some i made from way back. when i can, i talk with them, too. c:

i've never been much for the mini-games or other content. for me, it's the forums and shops.

I just registered for this new account, and I am very disappointed that Gaia removed zOMG permanently sad . It is one of the most resourceful sources to make money in Gaia. Without it, I cannot make a lot of gold anymore crying

Nothing really. I log on out of habit, check the marketplace for any sign of deflation, scoff, them log off.

I used to be really active in HoC and monster galaxy, ZOMG too when it wasn't impossible to find a crew (I never got to finish the story because it was so dependant on crews of six), until Gaia shut them down.

Honestly I'm ready to leave, the only things stopping me are the hassle of trying to sell/give away all my stuff and the dismal yet persistent hope that gaia will wise up and fix the bloody market.

I'm here for the art, mostly. I still enjoy dressing up my
avi too though, so I sell art to fund buying new items.

Gaia's not as fun to me as it used to be, probably because most of
my old friends are gone now, but the art corner of the site is still
active enough to satisfy me. ; v ;

I used to rp on here too, but I've gotten out of that, since I don't write
as much as I used to. But I imagine if you were into RPing you could keep
yourself really busy here just with that.

I think Gaia is what you make it. If you are only concerned with gold
and the economy, sure it won't be fun. But if you get involved in the
forums and make friends, it can still be a nice place to be. *shrugs*

I am seeing far far FAR less posting than years ago.

Why are YOU still here? I mean, I come here for Lifestyle general sometimes, but not all. I never see myself caring of the events anymore or anything either, which is a shame, because I used to be on this site non-stop.

There's 14k people on right now, yet, it still feels so.... dead.

I feel exactly the same... Gaia Hollywood used to be out when I was 14... I'm 22 now. Booty Grab is pointless because everything is so inflated it's stupid. Forums are much less exciting. I don't bother with the events anymore... I used to participate in the religiously. I'm just waiting for something new to happen... which probably won't really happen... without gaia cash.

I don't really do the events anymore either, it takes too much time now. I used to be able to get two sets of caroling items from shops and towns with out too much of a headache. Now it takes days just to get one set because they upped the wait time so much. It is soooooo boring.

Play around in the minigames, a bit of posting... lately, LOTS of reporting.

Mainly I lurk while reading e-books.

I'm not sure, I've been here for quite a while that I don’t want to stop going on suddenly. I mostly just log in to get the daily chance stuff, use the dumpster dive and post in a guild I'm in. I don’t really interact with others anymore sweatdrop
