We have discussion threads, chats and forums, and you can take part in a variety of creative activities and roleplaying games. Events happen pretty often, so that's great for getting involved and meeting new people. You can also complete tasks to earn rewards, and create and customize avatars with the items available. It's definitely a place to explore and chat with people - if you wanna give it a shot, dive in.

<p class="MsoNormal">Gaia is basically a time capsule for me. I come here, cringe at my 11-17 yr old self (now almost 27) and then I log out for 1-2 years and repeat the cycle. This evening, I was talking to my sister about Gaia's "Rallys" where we used to go and meet friends and race and it reminded me to come check out gaia again and see what's going on. This is actually my first time posting on a forum!

I've never been interactive to the community. It's a big compared to what I'm used to! Maybe I'll check around and find my way round eventually biggrin

The main reason is just to make avatars. That's my favourite feature on the site.

Otherwise, I'm posting in forums, entering in avatar contests, talking to friends, and playing Lake Kindred.

Logged back in after an impromptu 5-year hiatus, and I find myself spending a lot of time sorting through my inventory and admiring the new items I hadn't seen. The increased ease of access to Nice Things was a lovely surprise.

I initially thought to log in again because I wanted to come back and try to be more social, but gosh I think it's just not in me right now.

The D-Party has my love forever though. I like to just chill there and absorb their Good Vibes when I can.


Meanwhile, getting my pile of stuff in a nice tidy order and building the hoard has been the therapy I needed whilst I struggle to find work IRL.

Been falling depressingly far behind on my loan payments etc IRL, excuse the overshare, but that's relevant as I didn't expect to log back in and suddenly have access to so many nice things here! Gaia is very gracious with the free plat and free items, it's honestly so nice. It really was an unexpected bonus to suddenly have at least one spot I can return to and have nice things.

Pretty much the same as you. Farming LK when needed, lurking around RP threads and enjoying those ephemeral bits of inspiration that have been spread around in the air.
