I've never been a fan of the X pose. I wish they had given us a vial or something.

He's the only guy besides Gambino who's that size, and his coloration matches with X way better than Gambino's. I mean, I guess X could have gotten a tan and a dye job, but... sweatdrop

Of course, I say "originally," but "originally" he wasn't that size at all. gonk I think LabTechX has "been" at least three different people throughout his career, depending on who was writing him. >_>

But yeah, I think we'd at least be able to see part of it. I mean, it covers pretty much the entire length of the face, and she shadow only covers the top part.

IIRC, VO once stated that LabTech X was conceptualized as more of a character device than a true character. (Poor X -- even in meta, he wasn't seen as a full person by his creator. gonk ) He was intended to be a whistleblower against G-Corp's shady practices.

It's hard to say if that was later changed to Bucho... I'd believe it, the only thing that really dissuades this idea is the different head shapes. But there are other guys that size. Leon and Logan both used to be drawn pretty darn huge. (Though both are obviously not LabTech X.) Later, the tradition would be continued with characters like Ladyhands, but that's besides the point -- I think a plausible counter-theory is that the artist liked to draw giant beefy guys for the NPCs.

Also, I think I get what you mean now -- I was going by the manga art, you're going by the sprite. Right? In which case yes, we really should be able to see it.
