Does anyone else think that "Toxic Drop" is a pretty sick ploy on part of gaia to make profit from the oil spill?

Actually yes. Only donating 10% seems very low to me, since there is no production cost. They're making a 90% profit off of the oil spill, and the idea of cute animals being harmed in one.

They pay the artists to render the images once, not once per sold item neutral It's not like they're losing profit from materials used in each item they sell like other business making, say, jeans or tables or whatever. Weather they sell 1 or 1,000 of them, they payed the artists the same amount, and I doubt it cost them 90% of what they were expecting to make. They're clearly trying to pitch this as a donation thing but run to turn a profit.

I'm more bothered by the fact that Gaia didnt state which fund the money would be donated to then the amount actually being donated.
No fund listed, no way of telling who is getting the money or if anyone is getting the money. For all we know it could be going to PETA or some other batshit fundraiser company. Yup, I'll stick to getting these in the MP. If I want to donate, I'll donate to a fund I'm informed about myself.
