Well, there is a slight difference since everyone has access to the regular cash shop—therefore, using Gaia cash is a choice. International users have no choice at all, even if they do have cash; meaning that these cash users (who have more wealth to spend than the average gaian) are forced to use gold.

Hmm... personally, being outside of USA I'm not in the slightest bit bothered by the "USA only" restriction, I've grown used to it when trying to access online videos of animes/general TV programs, it's just a licence thing nothing to get bogged down with - legal restrictions rule the world in both virtual and real life.
