Hey guys, remember the ending to Demonbusters? Yeah, I know... you're probably all trying to block it from your memory and move on with your life.
But something about it has been bothering me.
To understand why, first we're gonna have to go back a bit. Way, way back to
Manga #7.
Remember this scene?

Santa Clause and Jack were just about to duke it out, to determine once and for all who was the strongest holiday icon. But then, out of nowhere, a mysterious stranger appeared!

Yeah, okay. Maybe not so mysterious. We all knew it was just Gino Gambino in a funny costume. But what was he doing tossing around Jack and Santa like that? If there's one thing we know, it's that Gino Gambino puts the milk in milk-toast.
We eventually came to find out it WASN'T just Gino, but an ungodly hybrid of Gino and Johnny K. created by the G-Virus.
Where did all the super-strength come from?

It was really just the combined strength of Gino and Johnny. But it all came to and end when Labtech X came along, and split them up using some crazy antidote, way back in
Manga 12.
Now, fast forward to Demonbusters. I KNOW you all remember this scene.
But wait. Jack's just tossing around two GODS like The Masque tossed around him and Santa! How does that work?
Well, The Sentinel and The Overseer were, admittedly, two of the "smaller" gods, according to the Manga.
So, Jack must be a God himself--one of the larger, more powerful ones.
So, let's do the math, here. Jack tosses around two gods, and is in turn tossed around by The Masque.
Which means...
The Masque is more powerful than Jack and Santa-Jacked-Up-On-The-G-Virus-And-In-A-Mecha COMBINED, while Jack himself easily overpowered two GODS.
So The Masque is MORE POWERFUL THAN GOD. And what is The Masque?
Nothing more than Gino, borrowing his father's strength.
The final conclusion, ladies and gentlemen?
Johnny K. Gambino is more powerful than a god--nay, FOUR gods.
So... when does HE get a cult?

*edit*
I know many of you are saying that The Sentinel and The Overseer were demi-gods, and not gods. I thought so too, but upon re-reading the manga, they are referred to as demigods once, and referred to as gods multiple times. Take that as you will...
