You're taking this waaay too seriously.
The chickens in the arena are no worse or better than the flock of scarves that entered for last week or the cosplays of Marios, Links and Luigis from weeks before.

Completely different.

The flock of Marios, Links and Luigis are all people trying to do their own cosplays of famous characters. They tend to be slightly different though vaguely similar, are not a planned mass submission, and are generally unique, if unoriginal.

As to taking this way too seriously, perhaps, yes. However, that doesn't make my point any less valid.

Voting in the Arena doesn't seem fair to begin with. People downvote others on purpose, trying to win for themselves... It's just a money grabbing feature. If people want their avatars rated, they'd still have a better place to do it in the Avatar Forum...

New rules are added all the time, depending on actions of others. The Arena is still a growing feature&forum. If you don't report stuff to omgwhat, then how will the Arena ever improve?

I rather avoid the Arena all together except when friends ask me to vote for them. Other than that, I don't go or would even enter myself even if my outfit was guaranteed to be bit-- um.. cool.

Admins go out of their way to make something nice for us and a bunch of dumbasses go and screw it up and abuse it and feel all self righteous because they abused a stupid populace into one of their flawed experiments. Every once in a while I decide to go lurk about in the AvA, see if anyone I know entered, and vote until my eyes bleed from the strain of staring at the computer screen. Frankly, these chickens are making my eyes bleed sooner than they should. I'm tired of seeing the same old thing on endless repeat. I go to the Arena to see originality, not widespread conformity. Thought the joke will run dry and wither away eventually, for now we have to deal with it, and it's not fun.

Having lost (miserably) in the Arena before, I feel sorry for the people who entered with honest intentions and who are being beaten out by chicken-clones.

Good grief. It's all in good fun. Pranks generally are. You're taking the Internets too seriously. Lighten up and enjoy the week. Make sure to read the comments on our entries as the week progresses.

The point of the Avatar Arena on Gaia is to promote a fair environment for judging the style of Avatars that users submit.

This breaks that point, just as #5s bribery did, just as myspoonistoobig's bribery did, and so forth and so on.

And at present, half your (pl) entries read, "10!"

Think about the keywords a sec. "Deserve's got nothing to do with it." Statement, a bit?

It refers, I believe, to the statement in the Description, which is about Beating.

They're going to beat someone up, worse than last time, and the other person not deserving being beaten up has nothing to do with it.
