I grew up with the old MLP. I don't understand the hype of the new ones. They are pretty durn cute.


Because 4chan. That's seriously why. It got popular because of 4chan and it's fallen so far that you have people treating love and tolerate, which started as a joke, as a real mantra in which you're supposed to put up with obnoxious bullshit from fans.
