I've never read Wedding Peach, but it sounds to me like Magic Knights: Rayearth has a very similar plot to it. 'Sides, red, blue, and green were MK:R's three colors :]

That's because waaaaaaaaay back wehn CLAMP was just a baby company, they tended to do 'forumula' stories. A LOT. Rayearth is one of those such stories. Not to say that back when it was first becoming popular, a LOT of series weren't forumula-based, kinda like how everybody's chunking out 'Vampires by Numbers' novels nowadays. oAo;;

Wedding Peach is a very old series (that was made into an anime just a few years ago after being dug outta the old archives of Japanese manga).

Besides, the armor looks JUST like theirs and NOTHING like MKR.
