I had been using the autocash feature basically since it's inception. 1200 cash credits per month, (plus the 10% discount that they used to have for subscribers) had been the perfect amount for me to get that month's MCs and a rig bundle. I usually supplemented this with a few of the free cash offers, but overall I was getting exactly what I wanted, with a little left over each month to save up for any cool EIs that caught my eye. Now though, with all these $30-$70 rereleases happening on a near weekly (possibly even daily by my impression) basis, it feels like a pointless endeavor to continue getting my relatively small allowance. It seems like you should either be willing to pay well into the $50 range for items, or not be willing to spend real world money at all, and anything in between is just a waste of time and money.
On the other hand, part of me argues that continuing doing exactly what I have been doing could help set Gaia back on the right path. By being a steady consumer, I am showing Gaia which items sell well and which do not. So long as they are making larger profits off the lower priced items than the high priced ones, they will eventually see that flooding the market with items very few people are willing to pay their price for isn't a sound strategy. So what do people think? Should I cancel my subscription and cut Gaia off from what little income they get from me? Or should I continue what I'm doing and hope that sound logic prevails?
Please note that this is not a financial issue for me. My budget is more than capable of handling the $10 I spend each month here.
