Apologies if this is unrelated, but i'm curious as to what the difference is between the different generations of Hermes' Moon. I can only tell a price difference in the MP. Your help would be much appreciated. I'm clueless when it comes to these evolving items. D:

Um, Im not sure what you dont understand..

First gen items were the first to be released, when they evolved to their second stage, 2nd gens were then sold in the shops. When 1st gens go onto stage three, and 2nd gens go onto stage two, 3rd gens are released in the shops to replace 2nd gens, and so it goes on...
Does that make sense?

So the lower the gen, the futher along the evolutionary path..

eek Like.. egg with wings like from Angelic Layer..? But... no... i hope not ;D It's more likely moon phases than an egg, plus usagi is out, so egg should be broken i think.

I don't think it's becoming an egg (though I did at first! a deformed egg) It was an egg already, the bunny came out of it. So now it's a waning moon, methinks.

ooh, okay. So basically what the MPs pricing was based on was if you wanted the "original" non-evolved Hermes' Moon you fork out the cash. I was thinking for some reason there was some sort of difference D:

So basically, buying a Hermes' Moon now will result in me being able to choose from the current stage onwards..

Um, no. If you bought one from the CS now, it would only have the 1st stage until it evolved.

And all of them only allow you to equip the stage they are currently on, until they have finished evolving then you can choose which stage to equip, make sense?

Yess, i'm sorry you are correct :9 You can only equip to what stage of evolution it's currently on. So if I purchased the 6th Gen, i'd have the choices of options that the sixth stage allows.

If you purchase 6th gen, you'll get only 1st stage (not 6th) - till next evolving report. Everytime Hermes' Moon evolve (report in announcement will say it), you'll get next stage smile
