Doesn't Ruby know who the father is? She would just have Peyo and not remember the man she was with? That would lead to so many questions.
Like:
1. Does Ruby have amnesia?

2. Does Ruby have long term memory lost?

3. Was Ruby date raped?

4. Can Ruby asexually reproduce, but is she hoping to find some guy to act like Peyo is his son?

how about this one. How any men has Ruby been with?

That's good one. I mean for all we know, Ruby could of had a different job before she had her hat shop. She could of been making money in a different kind of business.

I'd say you can probably just go ahead and rule out those last two; she doesn't seem upset with the guy (and she does seem to think there's a guy).
I'm doubtful of number 2, also, because if it was long term, wouldn't she be forgetting the early years of Peyo's life (and her own)? Although, I guess there's no proof that she hasn't forgotten that stuff...
Amnesia could be plausible, but given Ruby's...er... character, I'm more inclined to think she just really gets around. sweatdrop

That.....wouldn't be much adequate for the kiddos.....
I say Ruby does remember who the father is but the guy changed his face and can't be recognized any more.
Let's see if Peyo boy finds his father....
