What does everyone think about the manga being updated again? surprised If its a reboot I wonder how much of Gaia's past storyline will be referenced in it?

I'm hoping something happens with G CORP if they're doing the manga again. I mean I knoooow the story and it's like dead and things but... come on!

【I'm pulling out the card we used back when the Vampire lore was dropping and saying that because Ian and Louie are also Rosalie's kids, it's still technically on-topic to discuss them in this thread without bringing it back to the characters with the actual surname because they're all brothers with Gino. It's a stretch, but it's a fun stretch, and it's a reminder that our dear boy has other family if he ever wants to reconnect with the Other Side of his genetic line.

The announcement gave me lighthearted vibes but regardless just from the art style i don't expect it to get too heavy... maybe a re-introduction of some familiar faces around Barton Town and beyond, but who knows! it's honestly good to see Ian again, I feel like the poor dude got kinda forgotten in his Everyman role (even as a vampire's son, he's still a pretty average bloke by Gaia standards tbh)! Would also be nice to see Sasha again, she was a good egg :')

I agree it would be awesome to see some G Corp stuff, remnants or what-have-you, there were other survivors besides Diedrich, what happened to everybody? Good question!】

Yeah, Ian had a pretty big role in the "cast" for a while but his place in the story just kind of fizzled out, which is a bit sad for him. I hope he and Sasha finally connect, because as much as he liked her, they were kind of ships in the night.

(obv the green jealousy gremlin in me is anxious that if Sasha's a part of this than Gino will turn up too, but if he does, I have some hope that, now that he's grown so much, he'll just be like "yeah that was weird. Friends??" )

"Gaia Daydreams" definitely does sound pretty light and fluffy, which I'm totally fine with. Maybe Ian goes to visit Sasha and meets a pretty friend of hers and THEY hit it off.

Hmm. I thought I'd wait to read the new manga until more of it came out, but I just got around to it and more has indeed come out but not a conclusion. I'll check in another few months I guess!

It's a user event which makes it a bit harder to notice since there's no header alert/clickthrough. Sorry, I one thousand percent should have linked to it here. My bad ;__;

in related mews, I am still very much enamored with Gino Gambino crying I'm guessing that post was written by Astrid but regardless it is very in character. The blurry image kind of looks like there's no pony-tail though! Definitely based off of his avatar.

I just imagined him cutting off the pony tail because birds kept accidentally flying into it as it whipped around in the wind on the airship rofl

that or the wind kept blowing it into his face -- can attest that hair whipping you In The Eyes is a very strong motivator to crop it down hahaha
