Still, though, I'm not entirely kidding about that Gambino puberty thing. It's been hinted that the Gambinos are stronger and tougher than your average Gaian. And now that we know they used to be Titans... yeah, that makes sense.

I'm still scratching my head a bit about why Nyx appearing on the scene would cause Gino to start hulking out, though, unless there's one seal that's both keeping the Gambino bloodline as mortal and trapping Nyx in the moon...

Yes, even though Gino appears to have "grown up" at this point, he's still not half the man his father was. Literally. gonk

(I remember when I first joined the site, and one of my friends was trying to tell me who "Gambino" was. I think he said something along the lines of "he's the guy who's avatar looks like he could eat your avatar." xd )

While a quick boost of Gambino 'roids might help Gino measure up to Nyx physically, I'm having trouble picturing a "hulked out" Gino. x_x It just seems... so contrary to his character.

It still weirds me out to see him in the most recent pages, looking like a proper adult. Not a Johnny-sized adult but certainly more than he's ever been before. ... even at the start of this chapter, I think.

On the other hand, the super strength might not come with super muscles. He might get that lean super strength that's so popular in the animes.

whoa, i come back still gambino-loving trash and this place is active again! hell yeah! and the latest manga chapter finished and hell yeah! gotta say, this whole titan-bloodline-thing is way cool and kinda puts things in perspective and makes me really really curious about the descendants who came before johnny k (i'd say gambinos, but lbr here there better as heck have been some lady-type folk harnessing that bloodline !v!)

i'm kinda hoping that gino's "hulking out" to defeat nyx is less a physical one so much as a spiritual one, maybe? i feel like that is kinda where his ambition lies, he's always been more of a internally-oriented guy, p idealistic who thinks about things rather than does them (to the point where he thinks too much and winds up stumbling into his destiny many times), whereas his dad was way more physically-oriented, focused on the tangible displays of power and physically removing any obstacle to his goals (i had always wondered about the feasibility of him clearing the forest on the isle de gambino by hand, and this is one of those closed mental threads now thanks to this bloodline whatever, totally buy it). like, clearly there's gonna be some physical ramifications for gino but i'm kinda hoping we don't just have two hulking beef-titans duking it out again. altho this should b great for finally making gino step out of th passive n take an active role in his own life (and humanity in general nbd u got this kiddo)
