Sorta cute. OwO At least they're getting more animated with their avatars, which might keep people around. Though I've never cared too much for animated items much. Just select few, like Blue Belle (such a cute kitty >w< ) The cherry blossom and autumn leaves item are nice too.

The bloody tears looks a bit extreme though.

they just told us "We can still make them, but they will have to layer over everything. Is that okay?" and gave us a poll option

You can. They have a second pose that's unanimated. (If you try them on in the Marketplace, it's the pose without the star background.)
