huh, reading through more discussion, this is kind of crazy, but the staff said it was a legitimate purchase?

Staff purchasing a ticket on a mule that is owned by staff said that the purchase was legitimate.

I love how obsessed you guys are with this s**t. Its well known that gaia staff have to earn gold/items the same way we do yet instead of taking Zero Omega at his word that it checked out clean you still hold a witch hunt.

This isn't a witch hunt, it's clear that there is more to this.
The reason the gold is legitimate is because it was CLEARLY generated by a staff member.

If an admin grants someone gold/items, they are deemed legitimate. Unless you know some other way a busy Gaian artist would make their money that doesn't include: Vending (because none of them have a high enough total in gold to reach even 1 trillion), Exchanging (none of them have posted exchange threads), or Commissions (because artists aren't able to open/maintain shops on Gaia.) then please do enlighten me.

I kinda don't understand why a Gaia artist would buy a ticket for this to begin with? Is it to just get rid of the ticket or are they actually planning on using it? It's fishy all around tbh.

Only reason Staff grant themselves an item is for testing. They are allowed that but have to ungrant said item. Same rules apply to any avatar/pet site.

I know about that ticket. But he had bought the ticket that got him his first item.

Are you completely ignoring the fact that B R A I N himself is in this thread right now pretty much saying that even HE thinks that buying a Gold Ticket for 133 Trill is bullshit?

He even explained why not even he himself has that much gold and why he says it would be hard to acquire even through exchanging/vending.

You yourself referenced B R A I N as being one of the wealthiest users on Gaia- and then when one of the wealthiest users on Gaia comes in here and says that 133tril would be pretty much impossible for even him to obtain, and explains why (equivalent to over 60 halos, etc)- you are STILL trying to make excuses for the clearly shady practices that are occurring here.

just for everyone, I've dealt with tickets on a regular basis.. I used about 1 golden, 2 platinum, 3 rainbow and 1 obsidian left to claim --- so 7 total tickets


Prices of following tickets in halo

Obsidian - 7++ angelic halos
Platinum ticket - min. 3.5 angelic halos to 7 angelic halos worth
Golden Ticket - 3 angelic halos
Rainbow Ticket - 1-2 halos
Amethyst / Ruby Ticket - 1-2 halos
Emerald/Lapis - 0.5 - 1 halo worth




Double Rainbow - approx 2 rainbow ticket worth or 3 halos (but due to staff interference its at 133T now or 60 angelic halos worth)

133 Trillion is the equivalent of 66 halos+. The user that was taking offers on the ticket originally was receiving offers of 3-4 halos worth. That's a HUGEEEEEEEEEEE discrepancy. Why would anyone want to overpay THAT much for a ticket?

133 Trillion pumped back in to the economy is equivalent to 2-3 successful gold sinks. All of that in the hands of ONE user now.

They didn't sink the gold, they basically put it back in the system because one user now has 133 Trillion gold.
